I was saved when I was 29 in 1992, days before my 30th birthday. I lived in Chicago all my life, recently finding myself moving in 2013 to Wisconsin in search of my new church home; after searching the web I found Beloit Road Baptist Church. When I first attended it; I was reminded of a church I attended in Harwood Heights IL. I went away for a few months, and when I returned in 2014, I knew that it was going to be my new home.
Ever since I was saved, I have served in different capacities in church leadership; and my desire is to go where God wants me to go; to serve him in whatever capacity he sees fit and be where he wants me to be and do it.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NASB)
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
One other favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.
