Randy and Linda Wood are missionaries with New Tribes Mission. They are responsible for contacting missionaries from 7 states as they return home from foreign countries for home assignments and/or personal needs. In many ways Randy and Linda minister to missionaries much like a pastor would to a local church. In addition to providing encouragement and prayer, they also provide resources in areas of need and try to help ease the missionary's transaction from the foreign field to their home culture. Prior to their current position of providing regional member care, Randy and Linda served in Papua New Guinea, which gives them a unique insight into the challenges missionaries face upon their return home. Randy and Linda use the home provided for them through Beloit Road Baptist Church to give housing to missionaries as they pass through the local area. Additionally, Randy teaches at the New Tribe Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He is also involved in facilitating "Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skill" workshops and Conflict = Opportunity Workshops in various locations.
