We are Joe & Sesil Morris. We have now served in the Philippines for over 28 years, having served in the training for 4 years before that. We have served in several capacities over the years, missionaries to the Casiguran Agta people group, overseeing the orientation program for new missionary arrivals to the Philippines, field wide computer technician and office server and network admin, as well as field leadership. Sesil has been involved in many capacities as well, helping new folks adjust to the Philippines, managing the office employees, arbiter in many relationship-related conflicts, and lately getting training and leading a translation team to translate our Building On a Firm Foundation teaching material into Tagalog.

Sesil and her team have completed and had printed the first 5 books of the BOFF in Tagalog, covering the Intro and phases 1 & 2 and are currently working on phase 3. We are amazed at the way God has been at work both within and through NTM over all these years and are hoping for great fruitfulness from this teaching gift to the Tagalog speaking peoples of the Philippines.

As the ministry context has changed over the past few decades (explosion of technology, changes in the culture, both here and in the sending countries), the challenges for leadership have been many, but we are glad to be under-shepherds to the Great Shepherd, who is building His church in the Philippines!
