Jane Fischer teaches Bible, English and social studies to 8th grade students at Christian Academy in Japan. The majority of her students speak Japanese and some of their parents are missionaries. Since the students are from many different countries, her ministry, in addition to the academics, is to equip them to be effective witnesses for Christ in Japan and in their home countries. The BGC began ministry in Japan in 1948.
